What is the YYCMTB Season Pass Program?

YYCMTB provides weekly rides that are designed to be fun! Our rides are co-ed, inclusive and supportive. We want to build a community of like-minded riders and create a safe environment for progression. Ride guides will provide weekly mini lessons and skill demos to improve your riding. We also factor in enough time to session tricky features and terrain. Our rides are a great opportunity to explore new trails with the benefit of a professional coach and guide. We want all our clients to ride more, ride better and have fun!

Rides will be organized by rider ability. We'll tackle trails in Fish Creek Provincial Park, West Bragg Creek, Station Flats, Moose Mountain, Prairie Mountain, Kananaskis and more! You will register for a single ride and spend the season progressing and having fun with like-minded riders of a similar skill level. Our group sizes are capped, and we want everyone to have the support they need from our coaches.

Our Rides Groups:

The Lightning Squad - Monday

This e-bike specific group will tackle some of the longer rides in the area, as well as lots of laps on the Prairie and Moose Mountain trails. These are more 'adventure focused". Rides will be on intermediate to advanced terrain and will be based on a Level 3 skill set (Rider Level Guide).

Level 1 - Tuesday

We will be introducing new riders to our trail networks in the area. The focus will be on building skills, confidence, and community.  If you are new to mountain biking, this is the group for you.

Level 2 - Monday or Thursday

These groups are for riders with bit of experience under their belt and are looking to build their confidence on beginner to intermediate terrain. Check out the Rider Level Guide to see if this lines up with your riding.

Level 3 - Monday or Tuesday

Our level 3 groups cater to riders who are capable of riding intermediate to advanced terrain, but want to be more confident and comfortable. If this sounds like you, take look at the Rider Level Guide and see if this is the right group for you.

Level 3+ - Wednesday

This is structured around the same skill level as our normal level 3 groups, but has a focus on longer rides and a faster pace. If you are the kind of person that appreciates the fitness aspect of riding, this group is for you.

Level 4 - Tuesday

The level 4 group is designed for advanced to expert riders. Please review the Rider Level Guide to ensure this group is right for you. We will be working on higher level bike handling skills, technical terrain and advanced trail features. There is lots of sessioning and repetition when it comes to advanced rider progression!

Level 4+ - Thursday

This is also for advanced to expert riders, but with a focus on longer rides and fitness. There will be fewer stops to session features and sections of trail. This group will check off some of the longer rides in the area during the program.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find out about ride locations, weather cancellations and changes?

    • We use TeamSnap to schedule all of our rides. It's an easy to use online app that has worked very well for us. Once you sign up, you will receive instructions on how to use team snap.

    Where are the rides?

    • We'll hit Fish Creek Park, West Bragg Creek, Station Flats, Moose Mountain, and more over the course of the season!

How long will the rides be?

    • Most weeknight rides will be 2.5 hours long.

If I miss a ride, can I join another group for a make up ride?

    • Unfortunately no. We have a large number or riders in the program and it is too difficult for our coaches to manage people jumping between groups.

    When does the pass expire?

    • You will have access to discounts until Dec. 31, 2025

Can I share my pass with a friend?

    • Sorry, passes are not transferable.

Is the Season's Pass program kid friendly?

    • The Season's Pass program is meant for adults. We do offer other child specific programming though!
