Fish Creek Skills Park

It has been way too long since my last post, but I have a good excuse – getting the Fish Creek Mountain Bike Skills Park built. As the lead manager for this project, it kind of took over my life from the end of August until… actually, it’s still eating up a lot of my time! There is so much paperwork associated with doing something like this in a Provincial Park. Still, it was totally worth the effort!

Airing out of this berm is much harder than it looks. Unknown rider with skills.

Fish Creek Skills Park – 2017

YYCMTB plans to offer skills coaching/instruction for both kids and adults at the Fish Creek skills park starting in 2017. Besides the two pump tracks, there’s a 900m long singletrack skills loop with beginner and intermediate lines.

We also plan to offer sessions at the Chestermere Family Bike Park again in 2017. Hopefully the weather cooperates better than it did in 2016!

When the weather is good, Chestermere is awesome!
